REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• HHA/PCA Certificate
• Valid Identification (NY State ID, PEM Resident Card, Employment Authorization)
• Social Security Card
• Health Physical (must provide lab reports) - 2 PPD'S, Drug Screenings, MMR'S
• 2 Professional Reference letters
• Competence in English speaking and comprehension - Bilingual is a plus!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• On-Call! You must be available for urgent shift coverages, emergencies, etc. Flexibility in availability is a must.
• Professional appearance and demeanor - always kind, caring and respectful in all communications.
• Assist clients with daily personal tasks – bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating.
• Perform light housekeeping – laundry, washing dishes, vacuuming, etc.
• Shop for groceries and prepare meals according to client’s dietary specifications.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Manage client’s schedule and appointments.
• Arrange transportation to medical services, community excursions, etc.
