Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various medical procedures. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient service by greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and respiration rate.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing medical supplies.
- Prepare patients for X-rays and assist with positioning as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations until further medical assistance arrives.

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with hospital procedures and protocols.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs measurements.
- Experience in medication administration under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining records.

Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.

Pay: $16.30 - $19.62 per hour
