Holman’s Manufacturing and Distribution division has a great opportunity for a Vehicle Upfit Technician to join our team in Bartlett, IL.

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
• Pay: Starting at $21.50 per hour
• Important skills: wiring, assembly, tool knowledge
• Must be able to provide basic hand and power tools
• We often install accessories such as tonneau covers, tool boxes, hitches, winches, ladder racks, as well as dual battery setups for larger scale inverters

What will you do?

- Primary job function is installing new aftermarket equipment on new vehicles

- Build vehicles according to work instructions and prints

- Safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment

- Test installed parts prior to final inspection

- Verify all line items have been completed on the work order

What are we looking for?

- 2-4 years of previous electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience required

- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

- Ability to understand electrical schematics

- Ability to understand 12V circuits

- Ability to troubleshoot problems

- Experience with hydraulics preferred

- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions

- Must be able to provide basic tools or participate in our tool program

Pay: From $21.50 per hour
