As a Banquet Cook,you will:

Shift: Varies; Wage: $20.00/hr

• Reports to Sous Chef each shift to establish agenda for the day
• Reads BEOs and works with Culinary and Banquet team to ensure timely and quality production of banquet events
• Reads menu to estimate food requirements and orders food from supplier or procures food from storage.
• Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe to prepare soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, and casseroles.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, and steams meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
• Observes and tests foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing with fork to determine that it is cooked.
• Ensures kitchen is clean and organized upon closing.
• Ensures kitchen floors are properly swept and mopped.
• Reports directly to Chef/Kitchen Manager.
• Supervises Cooks and makes sure food is being served properly.
• Oversees work area and gives instruction on proper closing procedures.
