At Holland Construction Services, the Marketing Director will be accountable for shaping and executing the marketing strategy for the company, building a talented marketing team, driving brand awareness, and enhancing our market presence. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can effectively communicate our brand story, engage with diverse audiences, and drive results.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the creation of compelling and engaging content for various platforms, including website, social media, media relations, press releases, branding, public relations, project interviews, video and photography, events, and marketing collateral.
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive brand narrative that resonates with our target audience.
  • Oversee social media channels, including content creation, posting schedules, and community engagement.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to enhance our social media presence.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the marketing department.
  • Work with business unit leaders to develop and manage annual marketing budgets and plans.
  • Lead project management of concurrent marketing and communications programs, proposals, and presentations in support of strategic business unit goals.
  • Encourage team member engagement and connectivity using tools and collaborative platforms to share ideas, content, and video/photography.
  • Manage third-party relationships with agencies, vendors, etc. and define measurable results.
  • Collaborate with business unit teams on award submittal process and provide guidance for related public relations initiatives.
  • Champion HCS culture for maximum customer satisfaction and team performance.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, and minimum of 6 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the construction or other business to business professional service industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of branding, content creation, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Management experience, ability to coach, delegate, coordinate work of others, monitor performance, and deliver feedback.
  • In depth experience with Request for Proposal/Qualifications response processes, quality, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent writer with highly strategic approach to storytelling.
  • Excellent project management experience, able to multitask and prioritize competing demands for self and teams in a deadline-driven environment.
