We're looking for an amazing Charter Account Manager to fill this role which will be based in our Seattle, WA office. This is a Hybrid, in-office role, expect to work in person (in office) Tuesday - Thursday each work. Monday/Friday remote.
You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of charter partners with active, contracted departures on Holland America Line and Seabourn. The responsibilities include all operational and administrative activity from contract signature, charter planning and operations, to reconciliation with emphasis on meeting and exceeding client expectations. This role will build and maintain strong working relationships with charter partners and internal stakeholders to fulfill the contracted terms, conditions, and provisions.

Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong working relationships with assigned portfolio of Holland America Line and Seabourn charter partners to successfully implement of the terms, conditions and provisions of full-ship charter agreements for Holland America Line and Seabourn.
- Administer extensive and complex provisions of charter party agreements with the ability to negotiate with the client and with internal stakeholders to reach mutually agreeable options and solutions; Memorialize all charter details in a comprehensive onboard memo.
- Interface with individual operating units to address charterer inquiries and requests for customization (shore excursions, pre/post cruise), ensuring that charters are executed according to the terms and conditions of the executed charter party agreement.
- Manage charter logistics including manifesting, special orders, risk assessments and charterer deliveries.
- Organize and confidently lead internal meetings, at times with senior executives, to discuss planning and/or issues.
- Escort full-ship charters providing on-site corporate representation; to serve as liaison and at times, negotiator between charterer and ship's management paving the way for repeat charters. Able to independently host and entertain charterers when escorting.
- Manage invoicing of charter payments and collection of funds for charters. Complete post-charter reconciliations in conjunction with Key Accounts and Accounting.
- Assist C&I sales colleagues with the preparation of charter party agreements by requesting itinerary options and securing provision approvals.
- Responsible for safeguarding all official charter electronic documentation including approvals for provisions, financial security instruments, port confirmations, risk assessments and fully executed charter party agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of direct experience with full-ship charters and/or onboard programming
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exemplifies brand profile.
- Strong and confident negotiator to build internal consensus and gain account support for options and solutions.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to host and entertain clients and accounts independently.
- Self-starter, team player and able to work independently.
- Shipboard Travel expectation 25-50%.

- Base Salary Range: $69,300.00 to $93,600.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
