The Factory at Franklin is a mixed use industrial adaptive reuse commercial space. It is a special place, with a rich history, that is in the midst of an exciting rebirth.

The new Factory is a carefully curated mix of shops, restaurants, entertainment venues and common shared spaces, where wonder and people come together.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and creative Marketing Manager to join our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

  • Actively promote and sell event spaces within The Factory targeting social gatherings, weddings, and other special events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their event needs and providing tailored solutions to promote repeat business.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Cultivate relationships with area venues, hotels, destination management and civic groups. Participates in and networks with regional and national professional event organizations.
  • Create effective presentations for prospective clients and ensure that event rental inquiries and proposals are handled in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
  • Review and approve contracts and is responsible for all event financials, including establishing rates and budgets in collaboration with Direct Reports.

Project future revenue and revises and adjusts as necessary.

Conduct site tours, showcase event spaces, and provide personalized recommendations to clients to meet their needs and exceed expectations.

Events :

  • In collaboration with Events Coordinator, serve as the main point of contact for clients, guiding them through the event planning process from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including space reservation, catering, audiovisual needs, décor, and other vendor services.
  • Ensure that all client requests and specifications are communicated effectively to internal teams and external vendors.

Vendor Management :

  • Identify and contract with vendors, suppliers, and service providers (internal or external) to fulfill event requirements within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate vendor activities, manage timelines, and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during event execution.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure competitive rates and high-quality services.

Customer Service :

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the event planning process, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and exceeding expectations.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions to enhance the overall event experience.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and solicit feedback from clients to continuously improve service quality and satisfaction.
  • Inspect all venues regularly and makes necessary recommendations for repairs and improvements

Admin :

  • Maintain accurate records of all event bookings, contracts, invoices, and payments using CRM software or other designated systems.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, revenue projections, pacing, and event metrics for management review.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional materials and strategies to attract new clients and drive social catering sales.
