Job Overview:
We are seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team and provide exceptional hospitality services to our guests. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in ensuring their satisfaction and comfort during their stay.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring accurate information is obtained
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and concerns, providing prompt and courteous service
- Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and efficient manner, escalating when necessary
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is preferred
- Familiarity with hotel reservation system OPERA and phone systems is an asset
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively is a must
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
