Renewal by Andersen | Esler Companies is Hiring a HR Business Partner Near Dallas, TX

Renewal by Andersen of Northern Texas is looking to add an HR Business Partner to the team! The HR Business Partner enables the successful execution of organizational goals by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies. This role takes a hybrid approach to serving our teammates, providing local support while also managing processes and requests from across the organization through a shared services HR team.

The HR Business Partner will carry out day to day responsibilities including policy and procedure interpretation, leave management, benefits enrollment & service escalations, compliance activities, employee relations consultation, and successful teammate onboarding/offboarding. Must be comfortable with 2-3 days of overnight travel every 6-8 weeks.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - THE ROLE

  • Provide clear and effective counsel to leadership on all HR issues, including performance feedback, progressive discipline, and employment law.
  • Create a teammate experience, whether onboarding, growing with us, or leaving the company, that supports and enhances our culture of doing business with love.
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and processes in compliance with federal and state laws. Align HR policies and practices with business objectives.
  • Responsible for managing all leave of absence and accommodations needs through full cycle leave management processes.
  • Provides change leadership expertise and advises teammates on change strategies that accelerate human change and adoption.
  • Act as point of contact for all teammates through a shared services approach. Maintain open communication with team members in all departments and at all levels.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition to provide input to and support of staffing strategies and goals based on forecasts of business demands and needs. Be willing and able to support Talent Acquisition efforts as needed.
  • Communicate and assist with benefit plan changes and questions.
  • Manages complex and difficult HR Projects/Organizations initiatives cross-functionally.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations; collaborate and align business decisions with external legal counsel.
  • Identifies trends in employee relations issues, and develops solutions to address gaps, minimize risk, and increase overall performance.
  • Guide leaders and teammates on development activities to grow internal knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Collaborates across the various functions to maintain a pulse on the business and cultural environment.
  • Partner with safety team to support all safety initiatives and workers compensation matters.
  • Provide strategic and tactical guidance to leaders in the development and implementation of business plans. Anticipate and plan for human capital implications i.e. workforce planning, talent acquisition and development, and performance-based activities in order to achieve business goals.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING - THE PERSON
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR Management; or equivalent experience required.
  • 5 or more years in a HR Business Partner/HR Manager/or equivalent business experience required.
  • HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • Experience leading change initiatives a plus.
  • Analysis of HR metrics and developing recommendations for action.
  • Strong history of quickly gaining credibility and partnering collaboratively with business leaders.
  • Knowledge of employee relations practices.
  • Understanding of HR laws and requirements.
  • Service mentality with demonstrated qualities of responsiveness and a focus on results.
  • Consultative approach to problem solving and delivering HR solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
