Job Summary

• Provides support managing distribution center productivity and activity to ensure compliance with policies and procedures for distribution facilities.
• Develops and implements distribution center processes and procedures based on industry best practices, along with creative development.
• Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
• Develops metrics, drives continuous improvement, and establishes operational goals for cost reduction, productivity, quality, and safety.
• Enforces operating instructions and safety policies and procedures.
• Reviews shipment reports weekly to determine work requirements and staffing needs.
• Monitors shipping progress throughout the day to ensure orders are being processed and shipped in a timely and efficient manner.
• Coordinates activities of the various departments.
• Monitors and maintains the condition of the warehouse, vehicles, and equipment.
• Generates and distributes daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse operational reports.
• Collaborates with other departments to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
• Trains and manages Warehouse employees.
• Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations and provide training where necessary.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

• High school Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• College degree preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in warehousing or related discipline.
• 5 years supervisory skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems.
• Knowledge with OSHA and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems.
• Strong team building and development skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• This is a Safety Sensitive position.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to stand and walk around for extended periods of time.
