Job Title: Team Lead - Facility

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

Job Summary

The Facility Team Lead is responsible for routine and semiskilled tasks involving general maintenance HMS Mfg. Co. buildings, equipment, and grounds.

Major Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance through HMS Mfg. Co. facilities, incl. minor plumbing, painting, wall repair, floor repair, etc.
• Performs janitorial duties, e. g. emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, offices, and break rooms, mopping, etc. as assigned, incl. cleaning warehouse floors using sit-down floor scrubber.
• Monitors janitorial supply levels and communicates supply orders to supervisor.
• Assists in the maintenance of forklifts and other power equipment.
• Communicates requirements, needs and expectations for maintenance projects to supervisor and outside contractors.
• Conducts preventive maintenance on facility equipment, i.e., fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, emergency exits, etc.
• Adheres to OSHA guidelines and safety policies at all times.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Skills Required

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of facility maintenance experience preferred.
• General understanding of facility maintenance.
• Ability to operate hand and power equipment in a safe manner.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Demands

• This is a Safety Sensitive position.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to stand and walk around for extended periods of time.
