HTPI uses leading Environmental Technologies for painting and preservation projects. We are looking for a self-starting individual to join our company as an Outside Sales Representative (Industrial and Commercial) to help us reach more customers with a variety of products and services we offer. Your job duties involve a variety of tasks aimed at generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and ultimately closing sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Compiling and maintaining accurate potential client database, sales activities and client interactions
· Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
· Proactively seeking and researching prospective accounts in target markets
· Researching and identifying new business opportunities
· Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
· Generating leads and cold calling prospective clients
· Continually promoting approved company Image
· Acting as liaison between new clients, Sales Team and executives with effective communication
· Public Relations in the marketplace through attending business events
· Advising and educating potential new clients on products and services
· Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed
· Working with Administration and Marketing Manager in developing an annual calendar of marketing initiatives for new leads sharing best practices and ideas.
Qualifications:
· AA degree or higher
· Must have 2 – 5 years of experience in painting and coating application
· Minimum 2 years of experience in sales
· Computer savvy
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
· Bilingual is a plus
· Driver License required
· Able to complete Job walks on construction sites
· Disciplined self-manager
· Excellent customer service skills
