You Are:

A Product development lifecycle guru with the software and platform product management expertise needed to help transform Accenture clients and advance their digital agenda. You are helping clients understand where they need to differentiate themselves against their competitors through strategic portfolio analysis and product/market-fit capabilities. You are familiar with architecting and organizing cross-functional product engineering to deliver innovation at speed. Youre advisory-minded through thought leadership in agile ways of working and through tools and ecosystem partnering that accelerate launching software products to the market. You draw on Strategy & Consulting to help clients see where they stand today, what challenges and technology trends they face, and what new opportunities are theirs for the taking. Youre also comfortable working closely with Accenture and client teams supporting the sales process from origination to closing.

A Technology Consulting expert with an abundance of experience in Engineering Strategy and Industry X Technologies, including leadership and management skills to spare. Your expertise? Advising clients on data-driven strategies to achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals. You have energy and drive in abundance, along with personal resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love of continual learning. You have a flair for breaking down processes into logical parts and constructing crystal-clear reasoning and analysesan aptitude you use to decimate problems. Communication and people skills? As a manager youre a natural at appreciating diverse perspectives and bringing out the best in teams.

The Work as a Software Product Developer you will

You will support our clients across a broad range of industries to address their issues related to:

• Engineering transformations optimizing organization structure, new product development process, R&D spend and product lifecycle management
• Zero base product cost management through value analysis, value engineering and Design to Value assessments
• Product Strategies including Product as a Service, Platform Ecosystems and Sustainable Products Innovation Management and Product Portfolio Optimization balancing voice of customer and cost to serve Digitizing the Engineering function with new technologies like Digital Thread / Twin, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, etc.

You will spot, isolate, and solve engineering problems using your skills in:

• Advanced analytics Return on R&D costs, Product Cost, Business case models
• operating model architecture people, process technology
• You will also, throughout your work, have opportunities to:
• Lead small to medium sized teams (2-5), with diverse backgrounds skills and knowledge
• Effectively manage and coach others, collaborating with internal and external parties
• Support client sales origination and thought leadership development
• Challenge legacy ways of working using constructive techniques that fuel client growth
• Drive a positive impact in the communities where we work and live

Heres What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).
• 7 years of experience in an internal consulting role
• 5 years of experience working on product engineering initiatives
• 2 years of experience related to new technology (Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Cyber Security, Robotic Process Automation, Blockchain, etc.)

Bonus Points if you have

• Software and Platforms Industry Expertise
• Experience developing software and familiarity with software engineering tools
• Ability to support both client sales origination and project delivery
• Ability to effectively manage and coach others
• A collaborative mindset, are a team player
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Excellent leadership, management, and relationship building skills
• Master's degree in engineering, business, or related field

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.

Colorado $146,300-$170,000

New York $135,000-$196,000

Washington: $155,800-$181,000
