Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol - Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience - Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately using a cash register - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food orders for customers - Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any concerns or complaints Requirements: - Previous experience as a bartender or in the food industry preferred - Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating tips - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues - Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices - Ability to handle and serve food in compliance with health and safety guidelines - Knowledge of brewing techniques and familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages is a plus Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
