Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to join our growing firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing strategic communications programs, PR and content campaigns, as well as a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
As a Director at Hirsch Leatherwood, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of communication professionals, serving multiple clients across different industries. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and develop strategies that align with their goals.
Directors will produce a variety of work across brand and reputation management, brand positioning, corporate content, thought leadership, media & analyst relations, and landscape research. Directors will also be expected to help our clients use these materials, which entails meetings and project management.
In addition to managing client relationships, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the team, including staffing, training, and mentoring. You will also work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement company-wide strategies and initiatives ranging from new business to culture.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the media landscape, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to think creatively and strategically. They will be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of delivering results.
Above all else, Directors will operate with support from senior leadership and a maximum of autonomy, enjoying the unique satisfaction and flexibility that come from doing so.
