Hire Velocity is Hiring a Director of Talent Acquisition Near Carlisle, PA

Overview

The Talent Acquisition Director is responsible for supporting the company throughout the candidate recruitment process. This position acts as a brand ambassador and is responsible for sourcing qualified candidates for open positions, while producing a high volume of recruiting leads. This position is a member of the Human Resources leadership team and will invest time and energy to understand our lines of business, including cultivating relationships with hiring managers, to create and execute the appropriate recruiting strategy for the Company and meet current and future staffing needs.

Talent Acquisition/Recruiting

  • Partner with Executives, Directors and Hiring Managers to determine current staffing needs and produce weekly staffing forecasts.
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans by region, position, and status and review quarterly for effectiveness
  • Drive initiatives to develop Allen Distribution as an “Employer of Choice”
  • Oversee sourcing to fill open positions within standards or to meet anticipated future needs based on contract start up
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Recruiting SOP's to include the development of metrics to determine effectiveness
  • In partnership with the VP-HR, oversee Recruiting process throughout the company
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement
  • Design, plan and execute employer branding activities
  • Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecasts
  • Design, plan and execute selection processes (conduct interviews and screening calls, administer behavioral tests etc.)
  • Review employment applications and background check reports
  • Find and resolve bottlenecks in the recruiting process
  • Plan procedures for improving the candidate experience
  • Suggest measures for improving employee retention
  • Lead, oversee and supervise members of the recruiting team
  • Use sourcing methods for hard-to-fill roles
  • Attend career and college fairs, and similar events
  • Determine HR and recruiting KPIs
  • Create and present KPI reports
  • On-boarding
  • Develop, implement, and monitor On-boarding SOP's to include the development of metrics to measure the positive employee experience
  • In partnership with the Director, Learning and Development, review, revise and oversee On-boarding process throughout the company
