Hire Resolve's client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in Parsippany, NJ. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial reporting, analysis, and the overall financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial information, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights to help drive the company's success.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements
Manage general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
Coordinate and assist in month-end and year-end close procedures
Prepare and review budget and forecasting reports
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes
Supervise and lead a team of accounting professionals
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA qualification preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience in Lacerte/CCH Tax/CCH Engagement
Audit and Tax Experience
