- Entering financial data and transactions in QBO daily
- Monthly reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts
- Processing payroll, 1099s, A/P, A/R as needed for some clients
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Preparing the year-end close and workpapers in preparation for tax filings
- Extra hours required during tax season and to meet other annual deadlines
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, controller, or similar position
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
- CPA certification is a plus
- Payroll processing with ADP
- Bill.com experience
