Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (can be flexible!)
Location: Onsite, Dorchester, MA
Salary: $25-$32/hour
Duration: Temp-perm
Responsibilities:
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure all payments are accurately accounted for
- Process and post debits and credits to accounts
- Prepare and review journal entries related to accounts receivable
- Monitor accounts for any discrepancies or issues
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
Skills:
- Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and concepts
- Ability to perform account reconciliations and analyze financial data
- Knowledge of debits and credits and their impact on financial statements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone etiquette for communicating with customers
