Fast paced pediatric medical office looking for an experienced medical receptionist with excellent customer service skills, a positive self-starter attitude at work, and the ability to multitask.
Job duties include:
Greeting patients
Answering phones and retrieving messages in a timely manner
Scheduling appointments
Making appointment reminder calls
Rooming patients and cleaning
Balance daily collection log using Excel
MUST be comfortable collecting copays, deductibles, and balances both in person and over the phone
Working knowledge of insurances plans and medical terminology
Verifying insurance
Maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in accordance with Federal guidelines Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Any and all other tasks required throughout the day to maintain office flow/function.
Must be able to work without supervision and take initiative to complete tasks that need to be done.
Competitive Salary depending on experience
Education:
High school diploma minimum
Experience:
At least 1-2 years in pediatrics or family medicine preferred
At least 3 years front office receptionist work experience requested
EMR/EHR software experience with Office Practicum a plus
Background check and drug screening will be performed
Routine Vaccines including proof Influenza and Covid vaccines are required

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $12.50 - $18.00/hour.
