Hilton Garden Inn Irvine is Hiring a Corporate Travel Sales Manager Near Irvine, CA
Responsively for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all accounts within the assigned market segment. Meets and exceeds revenue goals by developing new accounts and growing current hotel accounts in a profitable and win-win selling approach. Manages accounts with travel throughout the year and negotiates rates for those accounts. What will I be doing? Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOPs and ensure the sales team understands and adheres to those policies.
Conduct Outside sales calls 2-3 days per week
Business development
Meet or exceed set goals.
Operate the Sales Department within an established sales expense budget.
Initiate and follow up on leads.
Maintain and participate in an active sales solicitation program.
Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market.
Regularly contact existing accounts based on the tracing frequencies of the Account Coverage Program.
Meet or exceed sales solicitation call goals as the Director of Sales assigns.
Be familiar with S3 Hotel Group sales policies and selling techniques, emphasizing maximizing occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR).
Conduct a professional, thorough site inspection of the hotel with clients, exhibiting key features and benefits of the property.
Use your property's computerized sales management system to manage the hotel's business, including (but not limited to) generating reports, entering the industry, blocking space, and building accounts.
Meet and greet onsite contacts.
Abide by Prime Selling Time (PST).
Develop networking opportunities through active participation in community and professional associations, activities, and events.
