Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile is Hiring a Room Attendant Near Chicago, IL
We're in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, folding linens, and other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly organized professional. Must be able to push/pull a full linen cart which is approximately 60 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk during 8 hours of your shift.
- Use proper lifting techniques in a safe, efficient manner.
- Deep clean rooms as assigned.
•Complete all assigned room according to cleanliness and assigned schedule
•Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
•Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed
•Respond to general inquiries from guests
•Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel's standards before guests arrive
•Keep common spaces such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies
Qualifications
•Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
•Over 1 year as a professional housekeeper strongly desired
•Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
•Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
