Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Catering Sales Manager to join our team. As a Catering Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our catering operations, including sales, account management, and business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, with the ability to effectively market and negotiate catering services.
Duties:
- Manage and grow existing catering accounts through effective account management techniques
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create customized menus for clients based on their preferences and dietary restrictions
- Coordinate logistics for catering events, including staffing, equipment rentals, and transportation
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during food preparation and service
- Monitor financial performance of catering operations, including budgeting and cost control measures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge
Skills:
- Proven experience in outside sales or account management, preferably in the catering or hospitality industry
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and achieve sales targets
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
