Position: Event Coordinator Internship
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Reports To: Director of Events
Location: Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory
Date: May 13th – August 9th

Position Summary:

Assist in all aspects of operations regarding events including interacting with clients and vendors. Responsible for setting up and tearing down for each event when scheduled. Hosts guests for site visits and tours of all H&B event spaces. Maintains event equipment and assistwith the upkeep of spaces. Must work nights and weekends.

Essential Functions: 

• Assist with operations for all evening events while maintaining an enthusiastic, dynamic attitude to our guests. 
• Ensures clients’ contract needs are consistently met, including experiences. 
• Serve as primary contact to vendors for on-site events.
• Assist with event supply inventory audits.
• Host guests for site visits and tours of event spaces.
• Assisted with the upkeep of spaces and alerted the Director of Events of any maintenance needs.
• Be familiar with A/V equipment and troubleshoot clients’ A/V needs.
• Must complete an intern project such as creating Event SOP’s.
• Track personal experiences via a daily journal.
• Compile experiences and observations into a final report.
• Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
