Hiller Measurements is seeking an Engineering Test Technician to help in validation and verification of its products.

Our designs touch every aspect of electrical engineering. 

The role involves working in a small, highly skilled test engineering team. One needs to be able to adapt and pick up new tasks and tools as well as be multi-faceted in skillset and interests. One can expect to be continuously challenged as part of an organization that strives to push the technological envelope in delivering innovative solutions to customer problems.

Job Responsibilities

• Product verification and validation testing
• Troubleshooting of digital, analog, RF, pneumatic, and other design types
• Hands-on testing of PCBs and electrical systems (especially RF testing up to 50 GHz)
• Troubleshoot and fix issues with existing designs
• Participate in design reviews to review engineering test procedures
• Calibration of RF systems
• Use software to run test scripts
• Testing using equipment such as vector network analyzers, RF power meters, E-Cal modules, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, phase noise analyzers, DMMs, variable attenuators, oscilloscopes, and more

Requirements

 RequirementsThis position requires one of the following:

• Electrical engineering associate of science degree
• Electronics technician specialization associate of applied science degree
• Engineering technology specialization associate of applied science degree
• Engineering technology: electronics technician specialization level 1 certificate
• Engineering technology: electronics technician specialization level 2 certificate
• Something analogous to the above
