New starting wage is now $14.00 per hour and at Hillcrest Home, you will receive an extra $1.00 per hour for when you work your weekend!

Hillcrest Home is looking for the right person that is dependable and can follow cleaning and sanitizing procedures as required by the Department of Public Health. Requirement would be to provide control measures for infection by consistent environmental cleaning of floors, walls, doors, bathrooms and furniture. This would include wet mopping, dust mopping, wet wiping surfaces and wiping of mop boards, etc. Resident rooms and restrooms, disinfection toilets, sinks, cleaning mirrors, fill towel dispensers and toilet paper holders, cleaning areas under sinks, around and behind toilet. Other areas include hallways and main dining room, along with front entrance and other common areas. This person would be crossed trained to work also in Laundry area, as needed, to sort, wash, dry and fold facility and resident laundry. Also involves delivering personal items of clothing to resident rooms and placing them away in their dressers and closets.

Housekeeping staff works from 6:30 am until 2:30 pm, which is a 7.50 hour day and would be full time status, days of the week would vary and rotating weekend to work with others in the department. Laundry staff works 6:30 am until 3 pm, which is a 8 hour day and if needed to come in early, early start time is 5:30 am.

Knowledge of cleaning products, implements and practices would be helpful.
