Our ad agency client is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Digital Project Manager / Account Manager hybrid. This role requires a unique blend of project management skills and client relationship management expertise to effectively oversee digital projects from conception to completion while ensuring client satisfaction and project success. We are looking for a PM/AM who has worked not only as an individual contributor but collaboratively within the advertising industry, small to large at company size would be the best fit. This is a hybrid (2-3 days), contract-to-hire position in Chicago. Only considering current Chicago residents at this time.

Digital Project Manager / Account Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of digital projects, including website development, digital campaigns, social media initiatives and other digital marketing efforts

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams

• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines and budgets to ensure successful project execution

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships

• Understand clients' business objectives, challenges and expectations to effectively translate them into actionable project requirements

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, design, development and marketing teams, to ensure seamless project execution

Digital Project Manager / Account Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field

• Proven experience (3 years) in digital project management and/or account management within an advertising agency (small to large) or marketing firm

• Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies and best practices

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and client-facing skills with the ability to work independently.

• Proficiency in project management tools/software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality
