Who You Are:

The Corporate Events Coordinator will report to the Head of Marketing and is responsible for the successful coordination of both in-person and virtual events supporting the GoHighLevel brand and marketing strategy. The role will be a key member of the events team supporting the successful launch of events ranging from 50 to 1000 attendees that will require irregular hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and extended periods of time standing and interacting with attendees.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Will work directly with the internal marketing team, presenting ideas and solutions to support the launch of planned events.
  • Will work with vendors, GoHighLevel staff, venue staff, and many other parties at onsite venues before, during, and after each event.
  • Must be able to travel onsite to each venue and coordinate the onsite requirements as requested for events. Travel is estimated to be around 20-30% depending on location.
  • Must have Corporate Meeting Planning Experience.
  • Support the event team with onsite customer interaction at our 3 - 5 events a year (primary event locations are in Dallas). This will require extended periods of time standing and interacting with HL customers.
  • Work as a valuable team member when setting up and taking down needed materials to host a successful event. This might include lifting as much as 50 lbs and will require standing for long periods of time.
  • Support the Marketing department by coordinating HL attendance at smaller speaking event opportunities including coordinating event details, working with the Event to establish key dates and deliverables, and coordinating HL team member's schedules and travel to and from the event.
  • Support HL Facebook groups as part of the online virtual events to include adding members to the group, removing members, approving postings, providing feedback, and answering questions of group members.
  • Ability to work well independently on several projects concurrently, and possess excellent communication, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Project Management, organizational and prioritizing skills; problem-solving and organizational skills; attention to detail is imperative.
  • Multitasking and handling multiple items/tasks at once is a key function of this role.
  • Coordinating event speakers and addressing potential problems that may arise.
  • Support the marketing team with other functions as they arise to help the Marketing team hit key goals and objectives.

What You'll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, applicable degree is a plus, but not necessary.
  • 2 years of Customer Relations or Customer Service experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in building and maintaining an online community across any social platform.
  • Experience with marketing software is a plus!
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage customers over phone, video calls, and emails as the situation requires.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and manage conflict.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment where your contributions matter, leading to significant personal career growth.
  • Ability to work well independently and as a member of a highly integrated and diverse team.
