Neighbourhood health center is Hiring a Front Desk Supervisor Near Buffalo, NY
Responsibilities:
- Provides and coordinates supervision to all Patient Service Representatives and Medical Records Clerks on all issues regarding registration, check-in, check-out, and medical records
- Provides staff in-service training on new procedures relating to registration, check-out, or medical records
- Addresses staff concerns and provides meaningful feedback to staff member for growth
- Maintains and updates all training procedures related to registration, check-in, check-out and medical records
- Cross trains in all job duties for the Front Desk to assure needs of all patients are met and to routinely provide staffing coverage to any position within the department as needed
- Create work schedules in a timely manner for staff
- Assures cross training in all Front Desk job duties of newly hired staff during their introductory period
- Attend meetings as needed
- High School diploma or equivalent with training in clerical skills.
- Previous supervision experience (2 years)
- Medical office experience (2 years)
- Athena and EHR knowledge preferred but not required
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. A second language of Spanish is preferred.
- Friendly demeanor

- Ability to thrive in a high energy work environment
- Comfortable learning new software and computer systems
- Be available to work Monday thru Friday from 7:45 am to 8pm
