Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Philanthropy to join our team. As the Director of Philanthropy, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to drive fundraising efforts and cultivate relationships with donors. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of our organization.
Job Summary:
The Director of Philanthropy manages and executes all High Watch fundraising initiatives. The Director plans, organizes, manages, and directs all fund-raising programs including Capital, Endowment, Planned Giving, and Annual Giving for High Watch Recovery Center. This requires close working relationships with individuals across the organization, especially the CEO and the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities:
➢ Annual Fund
➢ Planned Giving
➢ Major Gifts
➢ Capital campaigns and special projects
➢ Foundation cultivation and solicitation
➢ Events related to resource development
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: College degree preferred but not required.
Experience: Seven to nine years’ experience in development with five years’ experience in management of a development program having verifiable evidence of providing leadership to an organization relative to Development issues. Significant field experience and success with cultivation and solicitation of major gifts.
Other: Computer literacy specifically in donor record management, spreadsheet reporting, excellent writing skills.
