High Point Tire and Automotive is a small, family owned business in High Point, NC. Our shop is fast-paced and focuses on customer service. We aim to assist our customers and community in a timely and professional manner.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in working with automotive vehicles, as well as an understanding of how to best serve clients in a professional manner. Our Service Manager will be responsible for scheduling and completing necessary maintenance procedures for all vehicles, as well as coordinating with our technicians to ensure that repairs are completed within a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and enter customer information into computer system for scheduled work to be completed.
• Answer phone calls from customers seeking automotive work to be scheduled and work to be quoted.
• Schedule employees on a weekly basis to ensure coverage for shop.
• Ensure shop is clean and ready for work to be performed the next day.
• Open and close the shop.
• Assist with light mechanical work on vehicles including tire plugs / patches, battery installation, NC State inspections and other light work.
• Assist with returns to vendors.
• Write quotes for work on vehicles that technicians recommend and call customers to explain work, price, timing of completion of repairs, etc.
• Manage a team of technicians and assist them to ensure jobs are completed quickly and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,791.00 - $61,120.00 per year
