POSITION SUMMARY:

Onsite, 3-6-month temporary opportunity with a growing and award-winning biotech company that develops novel therapeutics and vaccines for inflammatory and infectious diseases. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be supporting the manufacturing team to produce red blood cell (RBC) membrane-based nanoparticle drug product for clinical studies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
• 2 years of experience working withing a GMP clean room environment in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience/understanding of general biologics production process.
• Experience on manufacturing unit operations, such as tangential flow filtration (TFF), normal flow filtration, micro fluidization, and fill and finish.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and comply with batch records, SOPs, and all other GMP documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform calculations and attention to details.
• May be required to lift weight up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and practice good housekeeping.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute production operations in clean room environment following GMP regulations, manufacturing batch records, and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices by following appropriate gowning protocols, standard operating procedures, and good documentation practices.
• Timely complete and accurately document all actions performed in the logbooks and batch records, ensure the quality and safety of the production process.
• Follow batch records to complete equipment set up, line clearance, item cleaning. Assemble tubing and connectors into flow path, clean and autoclave the assemblies, and set up unit operation systems.
• Perform mathematical calculations for the production process.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment, perform all duties in a safe, organized, and efficient manner to assure manufacturing schedules.

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
