Hidden River Credit Union is Hiring an Assistant Operations Coordinator - Credit Union Teller - Full Time Near Pottsville, PA

Hidden River Credit Union, a 215-million-dollar credit union located in Pottsville, PA is currently seeking an Assistant Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. The Assistant Operations Coordinator must be a strong team leader with a positive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and member service focus for all branch operations.

Summary: The Assistant Operations Coordinator supports the Operations Supervisor in managing, maintaining, and performing all duties associated with credit union branch operations and activities. This includes member service, member account management and transaction activity, account records, deposit account products and services, lending products and services, physical security, member support and problem solving. The Assistant Operations Coordinator also aids the Operations Supervisor for all branch related activities within the communities in which they serve and helps in building business and professional relationships and networks that enhance goodwill within the community and benefits the credit union. The Assistant Operations Coordinator ensures approved procedures are implemented, policy is followed, and assists in the daily support of staff in coordination with the Operations Supervisor. The Assistant Operations Coordinator works within the established credit union budget and executes and achieves the goals and objectives established by management in accordance strategic plan.

Specific & Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory, compliance, anti-fraud, BSA/AML, OFAC and USA Patriot Act regulations as well as all other governing rules and regulations.
  • Assists in all facets of the day-to-day operations of the branch, front-line personnel, and operations.
  • Assists in all branch functions and operations with the administrative office and senior management.
  • Assists all Member Service Representatives and related branch personnel.
  • Ensures branch retail operations and activities on behalf of members are organized, efficient and controlled.
  • Maintains and ensures branch premises are serviceable, organized, and clean.
  • Ensures the organization, maintenance, security and control of all files, records, account, deposit, loan, and transaction processing.
  • Assists with all vault and cash related activities, including balancing, cash deliveries, ordering, distributing drawer cash, security, and operations.
  • Assists with all branch ATM operations and activities including balancing, replenishment, operations, maintenance, and security.
  • Assists with branch coin counting operations and activities including balancing, replenishment, operations, maintenance, and security.
  • Assists with branch drive-through operations and activities including balancing, operations, maintenance, and security.
  • Implements Check 21 procedures and operations and all check deposit activity for the branch.
  • Ensures physical security of the premises and its personnel.
  • Ensures the implementation and use of physical security equipment and security procedures.
  • Monitors the serviceability of all other equipment and protects credit union assets.
  • Provides required and applicable training, communications, information and support to all branch and related personnel.
  • Ensures all branch personnel are trained and knowledgeable in HRCU’s products and services.
  • Ensures all branch personnel are adequately trained in HRCU’s applicable policies and procedures, including BSA/AML, IT, Cash Management and Security.
  • Acts as a trusted resource for all staff knowledgeable in HRCU’s retail products and services for members, their operation, benefit, implementation, and use.
  • Performs all other job responsibilities or duties as directed or assigned.
