HI-TEK Manufacturing is Hiring a Cnc operator 2nd shift Near Mason, OH

Hi-Tek Manufacturing is searching for experienced 2nd shift CNC Grind CBN Machine Operators who wish to advance his or her career in advanced manufacturing technology by executing a higher level of workmanship.

2nd shift 3 : 30pm-12 : 00am Mon-Fri *OT may be required as needed.

Hi-Tek is a Drug-Free Workplace and conducts pre-employment drug and background screening and random drug screening.

  • CBN (cubic boron nitrate) plated wheel grinding radial.
  • Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE.
  • Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.
  • Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M codes.
  • Maintain working knowledge of rotary / linear axes.
  • Selects, aligns, and secures fixtures, grinding wheels, and workpieces on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
  • Analyze, interpret CMM reports, and properly offset machine dimensions to meet customer specifications.
  • Perform Deburr operations to within specified tolerances.
  • Operate overhead crane when necessary.
  • Report proper labor hours in the ERP system.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.
  • Capable of running multiple machines, when assigned.
  • Demonstrates the ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Any other duties as assigned to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.
  • Always take ownership and be accountable for your actions.
  • Good and reliable attendance and a positive attitude are a must.

Physical Conditions :

  • Lift, push and / or pull 35 pounds.
  • Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift.
  • Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping in order to move and set tools, equipment and material.
  • Perform under AS9100 standards.

Qualifications, Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Duty related experience or / or including milling or lathe experience required - Min 1 yr.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Troubleshooting / problem-solving skills
  • Must be a United States Citizen, or a US Permanent Resident
