CNC Machinist | Second Shift - Direct Hire | Mason, OH

We are looking for a CNC Machinist for this awesome company located in Mason, OH. Essential duties include but are not limited to:

  • Set-up and operate a variety of CNC machines including 3,4, and 5 axis milling machines, VTL’s, horizontal lathes, creep feed and 5 axis grinders.
  • Upload/download and edit CNC programs as required.
  • Follow all policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE
  • Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications
  • Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M codes
  • Selects, aligns, and secures fixtures, tooling, and workpieces on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
  • Analyze, interpret CMM reports, adjust machine offsets to meet customer specifications
  • Perform Deburr operations to within specified tolerances
  • Operate overhead crane when necessary
  • Report proper labor hours in the ERP system
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties
  • Capable of running multiple machines, when assigned
  • Demonstrates the ability to lift 35 pounds regularly

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Good and reliable attendance and a positive attitude are a must
  • 10 years of CNC Mill experience preferred
  • Experience in tight tolerances as well as super alloy metals
  • Experience with Fanuc/Okuma/Mitsubishi controls.
  • Experience running 3,4,5 axis machinery.
  • Experience running a Makino T1 Mill is ideal but not required
  • Worked at high-end shops that would be comparable to us such as Metalex, Magna Machine, General Tool, or Midstate Machine etc.
  • Able to pass a background and drug screening

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 3:30pm-12am *OT is never mandatory but may be requested*

Pay:

$23-30/hr with 15% shift differential
