As a sales engineer, you have astrong technical understanding of our products and our customers’ businessesgleaned from deep market knowledge. Utilizing these skills, you convey how ourproduct features help customers solve their market problems.
You are detailed orientedindividual, keen on solving complex problems, and combine technical knowledgewith exceptional presentation skills to provide both internal and externaladvice. You support our customers through the sales cycle, assisting with pre-salesactivities and presentations.
- Developstrong relationships with customers, sales.
- Actas a trusted advisor to facilitate solution during the pre-sale’s activities.
- Assistwith RFP/RFI responses and vendor assessments for new and existing clients.
- Performclient and prospect demonstrations (both virtual and in-person).
- Sharesales and product insights and feedback with Product owner to facilitates newcapabilities.
- Proactivelyguide customers through their product options and prescribe solutions based ontheir needs.
- Identifyany custom business and/or technical requirements and coordinate as necessary internalexperts to provide solution.
- Co-ordinateinternally to get appropriate pricing associated with the proposed solution package.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a salesengineer or solutions engineer.
- Strong communication skills, including theability to make effective customer presentations.
- Strong leadership skills to own and leadpre-sales process.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multipleaccounts/opportunities.
- Experience creating detailed proposal andimplementation plans.
- Experience preparing RFP and RFI responses.
- Bachelor’s degree. Preferably master’s degree
- Willingness to travel 25% or more
- Strong preference is to have experience workingin the contact center space, CCaaS, UCaaS Solution, pre-sales
