Responsibilities

As Support Engineer, you will primarily support customers in using the CADWorx Solution. This will include troubleshooting and resolving technically complex customer issues, documenting software enhancements that improve user workflows, and developing technical documents. The Support Engineer will also work with the product development and quality assurance teams to provide customer feedback and promote communication between the departments. This will include testing and verifying the software meets functional quality standards during the hardening phases of CADWorx development.

• Troubleshoots and resolves technically complex support issues
• Interacts with solution development and product ownership teams to give feedback, discuss, and document design issues, investigate problems, and develop
• solutions to meet the technological needs of users
• Develops technical documents, instructions, and training for internal and external purposes
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of the organization's products and/or services
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders
• Accurately documents activities and outcomes
• Has a basic understanding of both software support principles and competencies in general software administration
• May require mentorship and supervision of more experienced team members or managers
• Develops a strong proficiency in Customer Relationship Management systems
• May conduct customer training when required

Qualifications

• Technical or computer science degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience with AutoCAD/BricsCAD.
• 4 years of field experience in Process design or CAD troubleshooting. 
• Strong oral and written communication skills required.
• Background or training in piping design.
• CADWorx experience preferred.
