Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. As an LVN, you will provide direct patient care and support to individuals in various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the delivery of quality medical care and ensure the well-being of our patients.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with medical procedures, including wound care, injections, and medical imaging
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Experience working with individuals in nursing homes or home care settings
- Familiarity with medical imaging procedures and techniques
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth
- Ability to provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs
- Knowledge of dermal fillers and cosmetic procedures is a plus
Requirements:
- Valid LVN license in [CA]
