Henry Schein is Hiring a Strategic Initiatives Program Manager Near American Fork, UT

This role will work hybrid in our American Fork, UT location or can work remotely in the state of Utah with some travel needed. Unfortunately, Henry Schein One is unable to hire individuals residing in Alaska, North Dakota, Hawaii, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Puerto Rico or other US Territories at this time. This role is a W2 role and will not consider C2C candidates.

Job Summary

HS1 has an exciting opportunity to put strategic planning into motion by executing our high-profile strategic initiatives. The role will mobilize cross-functional teams, develop strategic plans, clear roadblocks, and navigate dependencies. The successful candidate must have exceptional organizational and communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strategic mindset. The role is expected to identify and monitor key performance indicators and provide progress reports to senior management on all initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Drive and support the delivery of our HS1’s product strategy
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective planning, execution, and coordination of complex technology programs
  • Develop comprehensive product/program designs, including specifications and task prioritization
  • Ensure program goals and objectives are achieved within established time frames and budgetary parameters
  • Coordinate staff and internal stakeholders, defining project requirements and conducting assessments

Qualifications

What You Will Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent professional working experience
  • 5 years of related experience product or program management or similar function
  • Experience with product development and commercialization workstreams
  • Exposure to and a high-level understanding of how to bring a product to market
  • Experience working with multiple teams and driving cross-functional initiatives with various stakeholders and project dependencies
  • Experience building out business cases, developing investment theses, and crafting resource allocation plans
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams
  • Strategic mindset for goal identification and task prioritization
  • Ability to analyze problems, think critically, and make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of technology platforms and software implementation
  • Strong relationship-building and management skills
  • Negotiation and influencing abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment with changing priorities

The posted range for this position is $88,000 - $132,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a 10% bonus not reflected in the posted range.
