Webber Park Library is looking for a volunteer to assist with our popular Wednesday morning Connect & Play program. 

Connect & Play is a Hennepin County Library program that occurs at many libraries across the county. Our goal is to create a space where caregivers can connect with their babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to explore early literacy activities and socialize with other families.

Location and Hours:

Webber Park Library is located at 4440 Humboldt Ave. N. Minneapolis, MN 55412.

We are asking for a short-term time commitment of once a week on Wednesday mornings from approximately 9:45am to 12:15pm, beginning as soon as possible, through early July.

The ideal volunteer will:

• Love engaging with caregivers and children of all ages
• Assist library staff in moving chairs and rearranging tables as able
• Assist library staff in setting out early literacy toys and activities and helping tidy the space.

We would especially welcome a Webber-Camden neighbor or Northside resident in this role, but it is not a requirement.

Training provided by Program Coordinator, supervision by designated Hennepin County Library staff member.
