Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their automotive service needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and assist them with their automotive service needs

- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately document customer concerns

- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance based on vehicle inspections

- Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and communicate them to customers

- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs

- Maintain open communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on progress and any additional recommendations

- Process customer payments and handle cash transactions

- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the service department's workflow

- Collaborate with the sales team to promote additional services and products

Requirements:

- Previous experience in automotive service or related field is preferred

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in using computer software for service writing and record keeping

- Cash handling experience is a plus

- Experience in auto service management or sales is a plus
