Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

We’re currently looking for a Part Time Nanny in Venice Beach.
A lovely family in Venice Beach is looking for a Part Time Nanny (30-35 hrs/week) for their sweet 2 year old and, in the near future, newborn. Their second child is expected in late March and the family is hoping to find a gentle, engaging, experienced toddler nanny who will also be happy to jump in as a mother’s helper once the new baby arrives. The family needs care for at least the next 6 months and possibly longer. Once the new baby arrives, the position may offer more hours.
- Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 12pm - 5/6pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 5pm
- Start date: As soon as the right person is found
- Family needs care for at least 6 months, possibly longer
- 2 child - 2 years old and newborn
- Rate: $25-27/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All aspects of toddler care and eventually infant care, as well
- Age appropriate engagement and interaction - a nanny able to balance active play and quiet, thoughtful play will be a great match! The family is open to outings, but would like a nanny who is happy to engage 1:1 with the children (particularly their toddler) in their home, as well.
- Working on developmental milestones
- Supporting household tasks related to the children (sanitizing bottles, pump parts, children’s laundry, tidying up after the children, etc)
- Picking up toddler from daycare 10 minutes from family’s home 3 days each week - ideally in nanny’s vehicle (family will reimburse for mileage)
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4 years of paid, professional childcare experience - minimum of 1 year infant care experience and minimum of 2 years toddler care experience - must have in-home care experience
- 1 year of in-home infant care experience
- Authorized to work in the US
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation
- Comfortable with family’s dog
Compensation: Position pays $25-27 per hour and family needs care at least 30-35 hours per week for at least 6 months
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
