We're currently looking for a Part Time Nanny in Chevy Chase in Maryland
A lovely family in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking an after school part time nanny for their 3 boys ages 6.5 years, 9 years, and 12 years old. Care is needed for the next 2-3 months Monday-Friday from 3pm-7pm while their sitter is on maternity leave. The 6.5 year old is very energetic, the 9 year old is very thoughtful, sweet, and enjoys reading, and the 12 year old is very independent and plays a variety of sports. A great candidate will be energetic and fun, yet firm when necessary. Family is extremely organized with weekly schedules well documented and clear ongoing communication.
- Start date: ASAP
- End date/Length of Position: 2-3 months
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3pm-7pm
- Compensation: $25-$28 per hour, based on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Driving children; taking to activities (tutoring and lacrosse) or the park; will receive gas reimbursement when driving the children
- Light housekeeping/tidying
- 1 load of laundry per day
- Homework and bathtime reminders
- Feeding the kids dinner/snack prep school lunches
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional school age child care experience
- Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew
- Must be eligible to work in US/American citizen
- Secondary (high) School or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Must have a reliable vehicle to transport children; booster will be provided and at times can use the family's car
* Holidays off, unpaid
