Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

We’re currently looking for a Babysitter in Mira Mesa.

A lovely family in Mira Mesa is looking for a dependable, engaging babysitter to care for their 10 month old during daycare closures, sick days, and work travel. Needs will almost always be on weekdays during regular business hours (between the hours of 8am and 5pm) and will likely be last minute. The family understands you may not be available for the full day, they can be flexible as long as the provider can cover at least a few hours of care.

Advance notice can be provided for scheduled school closures and planned work-related events. For example, the family knows they need care for at least one week in June (either the week of the 3rd or the week of the 10th) and one to two days around the 4th of July holiday.

• Schedule: As-needed, during regular work week/hours (M-F, 8am-5pm)
• Family is flexible and willing to accept care for any block of time during the work day when needs arise
• Scheduled school closures and work-related events can be shared with more notice - care needed for one week in June & one to two days around July 4th, for example
• No guaranteed weekly hours
• Start date: Immediately
• Long term
• 1 child : 10 months old
• Rate: $25-30/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engaging & interactive childcare for one 10 month old child
• All aspects of infant care including bottle feeding, meals, diaper changes, etc
• Sick care, as-needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience - infant care a must!
• Has valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation
• CPR certified or willing to become certified
• Must be comfortable with family’s medium-sized, friendly dog

Compensation: Position pays $25-30 per hour and the family is looking for intermittent, as-needed care long term
