HELM PAINT INSIDE SALES

Job Description: An inside sales person for Helm Paint & Decorating is a team-oriented customer-centric professional. This individual has to be friendly, energetic and engaged. A Helm Paint salesperson understands that they are an essential part of determining the success of both our customers and our company. A Helm Paint salesperson is the customer’s advocate, looking out for their best interest. With this guiding principle, this individual will help take customer orders, educate customers on products, gather supplies for specific jobs or tasks, and work to achieve high customer satisfaction both at the sales counter and on the telephone.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Familiar with computer operations
• Can stand for long periods of time
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but certainly not required

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be at work and ready to work at times scheduled
• Wait on in-coming customers as soon as possible
• Answer phone sales calls as soon as possible
• Work to learn about products and how they are used
• Prospect potential new customers
• Share store maintenance duties
• Potentially drive Delivery Vehicle to local addresses
