Job Summary We have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst. We are looking for a team oriented, results driven professional with a strong sense of ownership and process improvement. The role has a diverse range of influence that includes functional financial responsibility within the North America headquarters for accounting and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Automating and streamlining the financial processes. Assisting with the budgeting process, and with the internal and external audits. Collaborating with local finance teams at our subsidiary manufacturing locations in Mexico on analyzing financial results, profit trends, costs, and variance analysis to budget and forecasts. Providing value-added input to budgeting, forecasting, and profit improvement Preparing financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis. Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits Maintaining/upgrading the accounting modules and improving the integration of the ERP system. Assist with preparing monthly metrics for executive team. Provide leadership and foster career development, with goals of a self-directed work teams in Accounts Receivable departments. Ensure that all the company's financial practices, policies, and records are in compliance with corporate policies and statutory regulations and legislation, including Sarbanes-Oxley Support and assist Credit Department Prepare financial reports and analysis. Assist with year-end closing process. Assist with internal and external audits. Qualifications (skills, knowledge, experience) Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university; CPA a plus. Proficiency with ERP software systems; JD Edwards preferred. Minimum of 5 years of general accounting experience. Minimum of 2 years of supervision experience Proficient using Microsoft Office software package Excellent Microsoft Excel skills The ability to travel (drive/air) domestic and international.
