Our Website & Social Media Advertising Specialist will be primarily focused on external communication, website management, and optimization of social media and our overall online presence.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE:

• Update and manage the company website; project updates, press releases, etc.
• Organize and maintain historical project data.
• Brainstorm social media campaigns
• Manage targeted advertising campaigns (Facebook, Google, Instagram, etc.)
• Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns and posts.
• Prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics.
• Develop social media strategies.
• Guide the messaging, tone, and brand voice for social channels.
• Stay current on industry innovations and tools.
• Support marketing objectives
• Creative social media posts with relevant keywords for SEO
• Write press releases on completed projects and community outreach events.
• Ready to perform in high-pressure, fast-paced working environments.
• Work with an external PR company on advertising and marketing campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 2-3 years of experience in a Social Media role; within an electrical construction business would be preferred.
• Recent experience from a corporate perspective using Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
• Website SEO knowledge and organic traffic experience
• Experience running targeted ad campaigns.
• Google Ads knowledge and experience
• Website management experience (WordPress preferred)
• Experience with CRM database preferred (Cosential preferred)
• Experience with Adobe CC products (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
• Able to handle multiple deadlines at one time.
