Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team in Duluth, Georgia.

What You'll Get To Do

  • Oversee and maintain all aspects of contracts and sales order processing
  • Resolve customer billing issues and questions
  • Communicate with customers and sales personnel regarding the collection and reconciliation of accounts receivable
  • Act as administrative assistant to Sales Manager on various issues and functions
  • Assist sales staff with special projects and customer service
  • Managing price changes
  • Liaison with the Credit department and Shared services regarding invoicing and credit problems
  • Preparation of daily and monthly reports
  • General office/logistics functions of the sales office
  • Review orders in the system to meet or exceed customer-required quantities and delivery expectations
  • Represent the company as our liaison between customers both internally and externally
  • Must maintain awareness of surroundings at all times and perform work safely and productively

What We Are Looking For

  • General business experience, preferably in a manufacturing/shipping environment
  • Prior customer service experience required
  • High School diploma required.
  • Basic understanding of Accounting Practices and Financial Reporting
  • Superior computer skills including all aspects of MS Office with an emphasis on database management and Excel
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Work independently
  • Perform duties with the minimum direction within company guidelines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping

Preferred Experience

  • SAP experience preferred
  • Aggregate product knowledge a plus.
