OverviewPlan and manage the Restaurant & Bars, Banquets and Catering, all F&B related events as appropriate in order to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, expense management, purchasing knowledge, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Target pay range is $58,500.00 - 60,000.00 yr.
ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage the Restaurant & Bars, Banquets and Catering, all F&B related events as appropriate in order to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, expense management, purchasing knowledge, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
Communicate with Director Food and Beverage, Executive Chef and Sous Chefs and order all F and B
products according to hotel needs and specifications. Forecast operational needs and schedule
deliveries of all food and beverage items.
Manage day to day operations for all restaurant outlets, banquets, catering, purchasing, events control and manage front of the house labor and beverage cost.
Maintain HEI Hotels and Resorts purchasing programs and arrangements. Ensure adherence to all
corporate purchasing policies and procedures such as requisition process.
Personally check and ensure appropriate levels of inventories are maintained to minimize waste and
maximize ratio turnover
Understanding of P&L, control expenses, F&B cost controls, waste logs and all expense related management of the operation Manage the Human Resources within the division.
Comply by all union rules. Implement and manage all company programs to ensure compliance with the SOPs and LSOPs; to include safety and sanitary regulation, all federal, state, franchise, and local regulations to ensure optimal levels of quality service and hospitality are provided to the guest.
Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
QualificationsMinimum of two years of post-high school education Minimum of five years of employment in a related position
Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession. This includes experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or complex problems and food and beverage management.
Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines. Schedule must be flexible.
Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
