Position : General Production

Pay Rate : $20.69 / hourly

Location : Stockton, CA

Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : oopm

Job Description :

We are seeking a General Production associate to join a small and growing company that values our employees and celebrates successes! The General Production position will consist of utilizing the powder atomizer, screening and blending, or material handling, which will be depending on the needs of the Production Department.

Job assignments may entail driving a forklift, handling molten metal, reading and recording gauges, monitoring process variables, operating screening, and classification equipment, weighing, packing, and palletizing drums, buckets, and other containers loading and unloading shipping containers onto and off of trucks.

An active focus on safety and following all safety and operational procedures is required. Must be able to work any shift assigned.

Responsibilities :

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures
• Assemble and package products according to quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform quality control checks on finished products
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of materials

Education : High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications :

• Must be able to sit for 1-2 hours per day.
• Must be able to stand / walk 4-6 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift / carry items 4-6 hours per day, depending on job assignment. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Manual Dexterity Hand / wrist movement is constantly required in all job assignments. The ability to firmly grasp tools with either hand is required.
• Fine finger dexterity is required for the operation of controls, estimated to be less than 1 hour per day.
• Bending / Stooping 2-3 hours per day, depending on job assignment
• Reaching 4-6 hours per day, depending on job assignment. This may include 1-2 hours per day of reaching overhead.
• Work may be indoors or outdoors, depending on job assignment.
• Exposure to dust and marked changes in temperature and humidity is expected.
• Must be certifiable for respirator use.
• The ability to walk on uneven ground (outdoors) is required.
